Japan property firm Smart Days files for bankruptcy protection

TOKYO, April 9 (Reuters) – Japanese property firm Smart Days Inc said on Monday it has filed for protection from creditors with 6.6 billion yen ($62 million) in liabilities, after the company had difficulty generating rent from the houses it manages.
