EDITORIAL: Kagoikes’ arrests should not obscure state land discount

The Finance Ministry sold a tract of land in Toyonaka, Osaka Prefecture, to the school operator for 134 million yen, far below its appraised value of 956 million yen, for the planned school. But the developments that led to the discount remain a mystery.
