Magnitude 7 quake hits southeast of Sapporo, Japan at depth of 66 km: USGS

LONDON (Reuters) – A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7 struck 112 km (70 miles) southeast of Sapporo, Japan at a depth of 66 km, the U.S. Geological Survey reported on Wednesday.
